Telecom Leadership Forum is an annual meeting of the Indian telecom leaders and other key stake holders. It is a platform to meet, discuss, and explore new and emerging business models, technology options, revenue streams and changing customer expectations. The objective is to help telco leaders grow business with better and newer services.
Theme: Recharging Indian Telecom - Let’s Bring The Smile, Again!
Inspiring stories from the past for living a great future
The present conditions that the Indian telecom is going through, it appears nothing is going smooth for the industry. Licenses were cancelled, and operators were threatening to quit the market; taxation issues cropped up; ARPUs have been declining; broadband is not taking off; cell phone growth rate started falling so on and so forth.
Unfortunately all of this is being magnified because of very negative sentiments building up in the regular industry fora, seminars, the business corridors, and therefore in media coverage. Everything seems to be on the decline, and it seems Indian telecom is a lost case.
With this kind of constant negative atmosphere, we are forgetting our golden past, we are overlooking the 900 million happy connected faces that the telecom industry showered on us.
And this negative atmosphere is perhaps also resulting in us not visualizing an even a better period that is waiting for us in coming times.
We, at Voice&Data, as an aggressively optimistic media firm, want to convey the message that dark nights are never permanent. Let’s revisit the sunny days that we had seen in the past and the bright mornings that wait for us.
With that spirit, Voice&Data has decided its theme for this Telecom Leadership Forum 2013 as ‘Let’s Bring the Smile, Again.’ Here, we would take the industry back to the memory lane where industry stalwarts like you will guide us by story telling their bright pasts and motivate the industry how to think positive and live the future.
